Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'Europe/London' for 'BST/1.0/DST' instead in /home/jcooper/public_html/entries.php on line 51

I was bored a long time ago and set about doing some more web design. While I couldn't be bothered doing anything "proper", I decided to set about recreating one of the most pervasive scenes in the modern computing industry, a view that is synonymous with Microsoft Windows itself.

Once I had created this masterpiece, it sat unused and unloved for a long time. I uploaded the simplistic design to a couple of web design sites, where it gained some small accolades from the like-minded amateur web designers.

No more does this design sit on a hard disk. No longer does it wait for a purpose. It is now implemented in a way so perfect the entire world should use it for the same purpose. I present to you, the jcooper.net 404 "Page Not Found" error!

You can view the page by trying to access a page that doesn't exist on jcooper.net - try for example, Adam's page or how Windows Vista is great.

The page contains all the code you need to copy it / rip it off / re-use it... If you do implement it elsewhere, please retain the comments in the code and let me know so I can feel appreciated!

The BSOD is also implemented as the page for 400, 401, 403 and 500 errors on the site (for those of you geeky enough to know the difference between a "Page Not Found" and a "Bad Request" or "Internal Server Error").

On a different note, I've also created this Favicon Favicon for the site to make things a little tidier.
