Chris will be doing a charity trek in the wind and rain, while you're sat having a nice pint at the pub then climbing into a nice warm bed next to your significant other.
From their fundraising site:
Chris and I are doing the short-score KIMM (Karrimor International Mountain Marathon) on 29th and 30th October 2005. The race takes place in the eastern Lake District and will be a gruelling 2 days of running will full kit for the overnight camp, traditionally in the pouring rain with bitingly cold gale-force winds (although we can't guaruntee this...).
To make it all worth while, we are running in aid of Médecins Sans Frontieres . Your support will give us something to aim for, and will be supporting the work that MSF do. If you want to know more about the event see:
